Topic: Plan for the thread!
So after reading everyone's input I think I have come up with a way to satisfy most if not all.  I think what we will do is have threads called Past, Present, Future.  On Mondays Tawnya or I will post a thread regarding something to do with the past months topic.  Maybe a question to ponder, a check in on how everyone is doing, encouragement, you get the idea.  On Wed. we will do the same regarding our current months topic and Friday the same for our future topic.  That way you can check the thread whenever you would like and post your questions, concerns, thoughts.  As for links and such, this site is already structured by OH.W don't have any control over most of that.  We can however input links to websites we discussed at the meetings and we can certainly send you copies of any handouts via e-mail if your interested.  My email address is [email protected] .  If you want to be on my e-mail list then please send me your e-mail and I will add you.  Thanks again guys for all your input.  I hope this works for everyone!

I would like to see posts about the meetings and what was discussed. I think these things would be helpful to me. I like who ever said about links that we can search out. Also if there are recipes that might get passed out or any information sheets would these be available to people who might not be able to make the meetings?

Thanks for doing this. You are greatly appreciated for your efforts.

I don't think I really want to see another board where I would need to go everyday (I realize I don't need to go to the forums every day, but I HAVE to lol).....

It would be helpful to see maybe a folder with suggested topics for here and for the meetings.  It would also be nice if there was information/links posted from the meetings in case we want to go back and review something from the meeting or if we miss it and want to see what we missed out on.

I am always up for advice suggestions from wherever I can get it and informative articles I can read at my leisure.

It would be nice to keep this area free of off topic subjects, rants and raves, etc.---things that are already available somewhere else on the Boards.

Thanks for all you all do to help everyone.

This isn't necessarily about the discussion page, but another.  On the photos page, it probably makes sense to create some sub folders.  A before and after folder is the first that comes to mind.  If everyone names their picture files with username-before.jpg or username-after.jpg, then provided the folders alphabetize. everyone's before and after pictures should always be right next to each other.

I think this board would be a good place to ask for questions about what will be discussed at the next meeting.  For instance, we know the subject for the next group meeting is protein, so we could post questions we might have here, so you can be prepared with answers.

Also, you can use this to choose future subjects for your meetings.

Keep up the great work.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!

Because I seem to have a hard time getting north or west for meetings, what was covered in the meetings would be great for me so I can maybe start participating that way. I do have an exercise ball.. :) and I try to set on it two or three days a week at home when I am using my computer. I haven't ventured to the exercise portion of it yet. But plan to. I have major exercise issues and need to try something to motivate me to do the exercise either daily or every other day.
I am interested in what ever is discussed here. And if I have anything to add to it will be happy to.
Thanks for the group.

Hello!

I think I would like to see topic based discussions relevant to each of the monthly topics. We could post links to research and other helpful items as they relate to the topic of the month. We can also provide encouragement, ideas, support, etc. as it relates to each individual topic. Since the topics are planned in advance, could you simply make separate discussions titled by the name of each topic? That way people could read/post at their convenience.

It is really easy in this day and age with all the technical stuff going on to be overwhelmed, so my personal preference is to not feel like I need to check this area every day.

The topic based support is what interested me and I would like to see this group continue with this idea.

Looking forward to next week's meeting!
