OH Conference fast approaching

If you haven't bought your tickets yet, please consider doing so.  This is sure to be a great event.  There are some wonderful speakers coming, including my personal favorite Mary Jo Rapnini!!

Most importantly this is our time to be together and meet/see each other face to face!!  There is a Meet & Greet event on Friday night, the conference all day Saturday and then Saturday night there is a fun evening planned by the event staff.

So..who is going?  What are you wearing?  Are you staying at the hotel?  Are you commuting...if so do you need a car pool or can you help someone get there who can't drive?

I plan on being there. I am meeting up with Tammy and we are going to stay the 2 nights at the hotel. What should we wear anyway? Casual stuff during the day? Are jeans too casual? Fancy stuff for Saturday night? How fancy?

Is our group going to meet up at some point? If so, what time and where?

I'm looking forward to the weekend. Several of you have made positive comments about these events.

Hello, I have missed seeing you.. (no meetings).. The Confrerence is going to be awesome!! They always are. I have never been to one that I did not walk away from refreshed and rejuvinated.  It is a chance for newbies to get new information and veterans to get that injection of enthusiasim that is needed every once in a while to help keep us going down this journey.
As far as dress goes, some people with deck out in their finest clothes. Some will wear comfortable casual. You can dress any way you want to. It is up to you. My only advice is to remember how cold these rooms usually are in these conferences.. It get's really cold. I can't wait to see you there.

Smile, it increases your face value.

Kathy is right, for dress anything goes - shorts, sweats, jeans, pants dresses...the only recommendation I have is from personal experience....LAYER.  Those rooms can be quite chilly or on the toasty side.  At last years even in Dallas I actually used a fleece blanket when in the main room becuase it was soooo darn cold.

I love the idea of us meeting as a group!!!  There is usually some down time between the last Saturday event and the Saturday night festivities.  We could plan on meeting in the hotel lobby at that time.  If we want to get away for a cup of coffee or something we could, otherwise we can just take some time to reconnect.  I doubt that we will be able to locate a place to hold anything more formal, but I'm all about colecting me some hugs and catching up with everyone.

If anyone knows the plkace better, and you can think of a good place to meet let us know.

I'll have my cell with me and you can text me if you get lost or don't recognize me.

I'll be there - shacking up with that danged Kathy Bender both nights! LOL

I plan on casual for Friday's Meet 'N Greet, comfy for the sessions on Saturday and a little dressy for Saturday night, but not over the top.

I'm participating in the Fashion Show.  Is anyone else?

I like the idea of a little get together between the end of the session on Saturday and the start of the evening festivities.  I'm not sure what time the fashion show participants have to be ready to go, so for me the closer to the hotel the better.  I'd be willing to bet there's a Starbuck's or something similar in the mall that is adjoined to the hotel if not in the hotel itself.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!!

I am so darned glad that you and Kathy will both be there.  I'm really in need of a good belly laugh and between the two of you I figure I might get a snort and possibly even some coffee up the nose.  lol  :)  Seriously cannot wait to see you again.

I'm in the fashion show, too.   I have NO IDEA what I'm wearing.  I just know that I'm going to need a big dose of confidence before I strut my stuff cause I am not one for public appearances.  I'm more of a back-of-the-room kinda gal.

If I can do it - you can do it.  I'll be wearing some variation of this.  Just have to nail down what the variation will be.  Sent several pictures of different variations to four people and they all liked different ones.  Go figure!

And I promise to try and keep the coffee snorts through the nose to a minimum - I said TRY, no promises!

I'm backing out of the fashion show.  I've been to stressed and don't want to add another stress to myself.  I'm viewing the convention as downtime and fun time with my peeps.

I'll be there both nights. My "roomie" plans are still a little up in the air, but I'll be shacking somewhere!! The hotel is next to the Galleria, so there is a food court, etc, there-lots of coffee/meeting place opportunities, etc...esp if you are not a "nightlifer"..like me..meaning I'm NOT...I'm one of those who goes to bed at "gown thirty"...a party pooper..but fun while I last!!! If nothing else, we can meet up in someone's room for some quick hugs.

TAWNYA-where the heck you been, sister??????? I've been missing you like crazy!!

I'm truly looking forward to connecting with everyone. I need y'all waaaaaaaaay more than you know.
