Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.
First off go with your gut.
Many people who have surgery are in a hurry to get it done and over with. I'm willing to bet dollars to the donuts I use to eat that the doctors often try to help as fast as they can. This is most likely a result of dealing with patients how rush them as well as their own desires to help.
Let them know how you feel. This is a life changing surgery and it's important that you are comfortable with your decision. I'm sure they will be extremely supportive.
In the end, remember that this is your decision. It's important that your enter this with all the knowledge your can and are confident in your decision.
Why don't you message me privately when you get a second.
Jason

Topic: Recently came to Seminar
Hi jason,
I have hears A TON about you from my Aunt and friend. They had nothing but great great things to say about you. I recenlty came to a seminar on 12/8. Got very excited and met with the Dr a few days after. I felt rushed and was kind of pushed back. I am going to see another surgeon next month. Something in me keeps telling me I shouldn't give up on your dr, but I dont really know what to do. I have heard some horrible things from co-workers and am honestly scared. Should I just continue on my journey with another surgeon since I am so apprehensive or should I give him another try? I have talked to alot of nurses and they suggest I go else where for several reasons... I really would like some advice from someone in that office. I called and spoke to someone and they pretty much said "If you don't want him to do it then we will cancel all your appointments, thats fine" And that was it. I was expecting some sort of discussion.... Hopefully you can help =)

There's a program that many postops I know have done to help kick start their weight loss.
I've done it during my initial weight loss phase to help get off a plateau. It's a 3 day liquid protein diet that is like starting all over again. Here's a description.

3 Day Liquid Diet Program
The best way to use this diet is to purge your system for 3 days by staying on a liquid diet and then gradually add food back to into your diet.
Slowly increase your calorie intake to 1300 calories. The 3 day liquid diet consist of drinking a nutritious protein shake 4 times per day along with plenty of water and a vitamin supplement. The total calorie per day on this diet is around 800 to 900 calories.
After 3 days, remain on liquid protein shakes but use them for between meal snacks. You can even use the protein drink for a breakfast replacement meal. Your lunch and dinner will consist of 1 baked chicken breast or fish and 2 non-starch vegetables.
After 2 weeks, you can add in a starch vegetable for lunch and dinner. So the program goes as follows:
Day 1 to 3 Meal 1 … Protein shake Meal 2 …. Protein shake Meal 3 …. Protein shake Meal 4 …. Protein shake Drink eight – 8 ounces of water and take a multiple vitamin. Day 4 through Week 2: Breakfast … Protein shake with fruit Mid morning …. Protein shake Lunch …. Chicken breast with 2 non-starch veggies (try green beans and broccoli) Mid afternoon …. Protein shake Dinner …. Same as lunch. Week 3 – Week 6 Breakfast … Protein shake with fruit Mid morning …. Protein shake Lunch …. Chicken breast with leafy vegetable and sweet potato or yam or brown rice Mid afternoon …. Protein shake Dinner …. Same as lunch.
