Dunn Area WLS Support Group
surgery scheduled for March 20
Hey Everybody,
I am scheduled to have my Lap Band surgery done March 20, 2009 by Dr. Enochs in Raleigh, NC. I am quite nervous since I have had a reaction to anesthesia in the past. I will not be put to sleep for so long for this, so I am hoping that will make all the difference in the world.
I hope to see more posts here soon. Support is a major role for success.

Hi PM,
I am so sorry I have not written you. I have had a lot of things going on. Please forgive me. I hope your surgery went well. How are you doing. You are right support is so important. I want to be part of that support for you, please let me know if I can help you in anyway. I saw that you have already connected with Barbara, I know that she has been a help for you.
Please let me hear from you!

Thanks Connie. I appreciate your note and certainly understand being busy.
The surgery went great. I am now in the stage of being hungry, yet still in the healing stage. I was trying baby food, but that was a bit much for me. I am now trying to pureed everything, I do find it difficult to get in enough protein. I am trying very hard, as I already have thin hair and can't afford for it to thin out more.
I am looking forward to a soft scramble egg. Something to actually chew.
