Celiac and weight loss

I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue about 12 years ago.  When I started on the fact finding for WLS, one of my main concerns was how it would affect my celiac. Unfortunately, I have experienced both malabsorption and dumping syndrome.  I would not choose to go through either of those again.   I did lose a lot of weight before my diagnosis, but it was not comfortable having those symptoms.  I was also concerned about changing how my intestines work.

Due to the above, I have made the decision to have the sleeve.
