Winning by Losing
Newbie - first post
I see the Central PA group, but do not see messages. So, I guess I'll be starting something!
My name is Ida. I had RNY at Geisinger in Danville in February 2009. I live in Port Matilda, and work in State College.
Yesterday, I hit 90 pounds lost. I am in my "goal size" for dresses, and one size away (two depending on the brand) in jeans.
I've started journaling (again) because I realized that I struggle getting in enough protein and water. Right now I'm concentrating on getting consistent protein, but, am increasing my water. [I've started drinking decaf tea] at work to help increase my water intake throughout the day -- since I spend 10 hours at my desk (4 days a week).
I have set a 'goal' to complete "Scout Out Huntingdon County" before year end in 2010. I doubt I'll fini**** before the snow flies this year ... but that's not going to stop me from logging some miles. To complete the achievement you cover "100 miles of heritage." And, you can earn patches (mini-rewards) for completing various 'segments' ... you can get more information at: http://scouts.raystown.org/
