Hi Lucy,
I have been off and not working the support group for a while due to multiple family emergencies. I'm just now starting to get back in the saddle.
I haven't had any chat meetings at all with my support group and I'm not sure that we will because the group numbers well over 500 members.
I have in person support group meetings in Raleigh NC.
I also normally post discussion topics that I email to the membership and that tends to start an interactive discussion. I also try to come by and check the boards to chime in on other discussion threads started by other members.
Welcome to the group and I look forward to getting to know you.

What I did was along with getting my daily 60-80 grams of protein in, I keep up a regular fitness regimen of aerobic and strength training excerises. If you have not already started one, please do so, it helps so much. Adding strength excerises using resistance bands are great because it helps create lean muscle which helps to burn fat more rapidly. I have found the routine to be very successful to say the least. Take care and much success to you!
Hey Everybody,
Thank you for your emails and encouragements on this site. You guys offer such great support and wisdom that have kept me inspired along the way. As promised, I have uploaded some pics at my goal weight so when you get a chance stop by and let me know what you think. Thanks so much and much success on your WLS journey.
