The Loser's Bench
Let's get moving together!
Hi All,
As many of you know, I lead a virtual and an in person support group in Raleigh NC. I'd really like to find some ways for us to have some activities that would allow us to socialize, get active and maybe even do something good for someone else at the same time. With this in mind, I'm looking into seeing if anyone might be interested in participating in local charitable walks. The ones that come to mind right now,
WalkLikeMadd in Raleigh March 09
Special Olympics in Raleigh or Chapel Hill/Spring 09
These are just two that I found in the area. Soooo... Would you be interested? Do you know of other walks that we might participate in?
Overall, what do you think?

Gee... We think in the same circles ;-)
Let's talk about the walk you are going to participate in... I'm wondering about how many of these things we might be able to get going.

I really want to do an extended walk this year. I think the breast cancer society has a 30 miles in 2 days or something that I want to look into!!!
