After almost a week in the Hospital, I am finally GOING HOME!!! I am Anxious and Excited... CANT WAIT!!! LET THE LOSING BEGIN!!!

Merry Christmas Mags ! I am so happy your doing better... Life may throw us a bump in the road sometimes but we now can just walk right over it and keep going... Way to go!

Well he is here and mommy and baby are doing a little better.... She went in to have him on 1st of Dec but due to complications with the induction meds they gave her a choice to wait a few more days or a C-section... my daughter said this is her only chance to have a baby so she wanted to wait ... so fighting with a determined pregnant woman was not happening ... the next 6 days she stayed in the hospital until nature took over and she went into labor and had a 7.6 pound baby 20 inches long on Dec 8Th 2011 ! baby had a rough start but is doing well and home now... Mommy on the other had went straight to surgery after and they removed just the tumor and very little of her cervix, for now they told her she will have to go to M.D. Anderson for treatment and further surgeries.... She is now home also and sore but happy she waited and had the chance to have baby Eizik naturally. I want to thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers.

Hi gang,
How is everyone doing? I've missed you. Life has been so happy. My knee replacement has allowed me so much freedom.
I was in the hospital for 2 weeks due to a MRSA infection (the super bug.) I was sent home with IV antibiotics given through an IV site called a PICC line. The fact that I would be home alone with Ellen being gone from home 12 hours a day or more. Got lots of PT and OT. At 2 weeks post-op my knee surgeon said I was at the place he expects his patients to be at for their 6 week check-up. I've been a bit behind on doing my home exercises. I do walk 5 days a week now. The woman who got short of breath walking to her car walked 1.25 miles with no breathing problems. I never thought I would ever be able to do that. Not in a million years.
