Hello Bariatric Buddy members.  I went to an informational get together with other wls folks to hear a presentation from a plastic surgeon.  He had a slide show of pre and post op plastics.  Wow, what miracles are possible.  Got me to thinking, and I will tuck this away for future personal reference.  We talked of support groups and all the positive things that happen.

I miss getting to chat sessions.  Work often interferes with my ability to participate.  Not today.  I am setting the alarm on my phone to make chat session tonight.  Looking forward to visiting with any and all that can make it.  Usual chat reminder will be sent asap.

Here we go!!!!  Bariatric buddy chat session is this evening. Come one, come all. Time for sharing and caring for each other.   We start at 7pm eastern, 6pm central, 5pm mountain and 4pm pacific. Entrance shortcut is http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/bariatricbuddy/chat/ .   You may need to update your JAVA if having trouble getting into the chat room. Keep trying. Chat usually lasts about an hour. Any questions, send a PM to KathyB4me, here at OH.     I plan to be there. See (or rather chat with) you this evening. Hugs, Kathy

so glad to hear that you are pain free.   Glad that the whole surgery ordeal wasnt that bad for you.  I didnt have horrible knees b4, but the 360 pounds I was carrying around sure made them hurt like the dickens,  Now I have no pain in my knees at all either..

Today (saturday) I did WATP for 30 minutes.  I felt so energetic.  I noticed that my posture is better and I also noticed that I was able to perform the same number of reps as they did.  I was able to keep up better.

Hi Deb....I'm Deb too.....your story sounds just like mine! I am not in Arkansas, I am in Virginia, but I hope that we can become good friends and share our weight loss....I am just getting started, I am 54 years old and 329 lbs. I am 5 ft, 7 ins. and that puts me in the really morbidly obese group, So.....I think I'll be part of this forum for a LOOOONG time. I did not get to be 329 lbs overnight so I can not expect to lose it all overnight either. A forum like this that can provide support and encouragement is just what I need. Hope to see you around! Deb

Hello everyone, My name is Debbie and I have just begun my weight loss journey today. I went to a seminar today and met with the surgeon who will do my surgery.  I know that I have a very long way to go, but I don't want to go alone, so I hope to find a few upbeat, supportive friends who are like me (just starting out) or who have already  had their surgery and can share thier experiences and knowledge with me.
