I am with you on the ughh part Tammie. If dieting alone worked, lots of us would not need wls. Congrats on making a great decision for your personal health.
Topic: RE: im new help please
Just wanted to add my greetings too Mrs. Paris. I am another member of the group that had RNY, sleeve not an option at the site I had surgery at, at the time. Plus my insurance would not cover the sleeve then either.
Hope you get some replies from other sleevers. Post often, the board can get slow on weekends. I am just catching up for focusing time on myself for a few days.
Any specific questions we can address. Lots of the information is similar for RNY and sleeve. We just have dumping as a side effect that the sleeve does not have.

Wish I could have "the answer", my probem is opposite yours. I take doses of fiber supplement daily to help things move on along. Check with your MD, sometimes fiber will absorb the excess liquid and thicken things a bit. Hope you and your MD figure things out soon. Keep us up to date. Hugs
ps, great to see you posting again.

Tammie, welcome to the group. Bring your fav pillow and plan to sleep. Anticipation and excitement can affect ability to sleep. Be boring before you go. The goo washes out of your hair fairly easily. I was surprised with my sleep study, I did sleep. The best sleep in weeks after the put the cpap mask on me. Didn't know what I had been missing.
Good to be your own advocate and call for the appointments. Let us know what you learn, hoping for a quick surgery date for you. Hugs

Welcome to the group Jackson. Try to add a protein to the carbs to slow the trip through your system. I wish I had wonderful ideas, just keep doing your best. I agree a feeding tube does not sound appealing. Let us know how things are going for you. Keeping you in my thoughts. Wish I could just donate a few of my extra pounds your way. I was joking with a MD friend of mine that he needs to invent the adipose transport system for the elderly that need more padding on their bony joints. I would be a donor.

Consider your request granted. If you still need a butt kicking in person, I will be there in a few days within physical kicking distance. Make the best personal decision with each and every bite. Hugs and butt kickin'
