(((HUGS))) Anytime something is not right with our health, there is cause for concern. Even with little things. The only way we will really know wether or not to be more concerned is when you hear back on the biopsy results.

You are in my thoughts and prayers for it to be nothing serious, and easily taken care of. PLEASE keep us posted!
I too have had (and some still do) many of the symptoms you listed. They are no fun to deal with, especially the lack of energy. Healing thoughts coming your way

Topic: RE: 15 Months Post Op
I will be 3 years out on July 21st. I have to watch carefully now, or I will regain, and actually did about 10 lbs while back at school my first semester. I am working now to get it off. It is far too easy for the weight to come back.

The BEST thing you can do for yourself is to get back to the basic rules of wls. Water water water, walk or exercise of some kind, even if only a little. Protein protein protein, and do not over eat. Also stay away from any carb that is not whole grain or from fruit or veggies. These carbs will contribute the most to regain or slowing of weight loss.

Portion sizes at this point should run from 1 to 1 1/2 cups per meal. 4 meals a day, and maybe even a couple of small healthy protein based snacks.

Best of luck lady.

Sara. You are doing wonderfully! The mood swings can be expected, especially as the weight is falling off like it is. Good to hear you are following up with your psych.
Take great care of YOU!

Life will always be throwing monkey wrenches at us, be it negative people or times of struggle. remember to not let it knock you off track. Those who cannot be supportive and encouraging may just need to be kept at a distance for a while, or altogether. Hang in there and keep up the good work

Fran.... HUGS coming your way. It can be so hard to find a good balance with life and post wls. This is NOT an easy journey in the least.

I wish you the best of luck in getting everything smoothed out. Financial, health, wls, etc. Each area of our life affects the other and it gets hard to balance.

Hang in there and focus on taking care of you too!

Topic: RE: How to Help Your Spouse Help You?
It can be a huge benefit for spouses and support people to attend support group meetings with you. They can hear and see what struggles others have and get great info on working through them and be there to back you up with these ideas when you need it.

One huge help is to get him prepared NOW to not EVER offer you food that is not acceptable for this journey. Its kinda like offering a drug addict a fix they are trying to recover from. Also it is kind for our spouses to keep their goodies out of sight for us, as to avoid temptation.

Explain to him now as well, that you may go through some emotional swings after wls for a few months. This is pretty normal as our bodies are releasing stored chemicals and hormones that are in our fat cells from the day they began accumulating. There is an article in this group blog about this. Ask him to be patient with you during this time.
