Thanks Mag,

I have not placed any new pics. I just have to find the time to get them taken. My daughter normaly takes the pics and she is a hard one to tie down, she is so involved in so many things. She has a soccer tournament this weekend maybe  I can get her to take them when we get home on Sunday.

You are awesome,  I have noticed how you take the time to respond to everyone's post. You are very dedicated and it makes us feel good to be acknowledged with positive praise. Keep it up we like it

Thanks Patrece,  I will have to ask the instructor of the class if there is a link for the hula hoop. He makes them him self.

The instructors are a husband and wife team, the wife lost over 100 lbs and the husband lost 60 lbs hula hooping. I remember reading an article in the paper about them last year, and he was telling me they were also on good morning america promoting the hula hoop as exercise. I have not met the wife yet, He says her classes are more intense. I hope I can make it to one of her classes to compare. I did not find his class intense but it was an hour long and I hula'd the whole time lol, it was fun. lol

HI Jeanine,
Congrats on your surgery - you just had it not long ago right? I noticed your date becuase you are from Maine...I am too.  Thanks for your insights - can't believe you crazed turkey breast given all the choices out there - not a bad choice!  It is interesting, I don't have to be on a liquid diet beforehand but am trying it for a few days.  Just hearing it is not just me is helping, I am back on track today. Two weeks to go.....
Take care and hope you are feeling good!
Warm regards
Kathy

I went through this! I actually had a 2 week pre-op liquid diet! I wanted everything before surgery because I knew that I wouldn't/couldn't have it again! I tried my best to stay away from all the foods I wanted. I went through a rough patch were all I wanted was TURKEY BREAST!  I didn't cheat on my liquid diet because I knew I not only had to shrink my liver (to make surgery safer) but because once I started cheating I know that I wouldn't stop.  Also, my surgeon would not do my surgery if I GAINED ANY WEIGHT!  It is not an easy process but for the best possible results I would try to stay away from any fried, high carb, high sugar foods. This will not only help you now but after surgery. You may go through withdrawls from all the foods that your body is used to before it gets used to the healtier options! Good Luck!

This is a summary for 2 days -Sunday and Monday, since it's after dinner Monday already.
Sunday went fairly well, if u discount the fact that DB took me out to dinner. At least I stuck with the salad (just lemon for dressing, ty) and maybe 1-2 oz of meat.
Monday was not too bad, despite it being a holiday here. My house assistant and I cooked some beef for the next couple of days and of course, the necessary salads. I kept to my program today and hope to continue this way until vacation time in August.
