Hello,
I am pretty new also :).  Just had RNY on May 7th.  I live in Colo too and like scrapbooking and crafts.  Just joined this group last night but am looking forward to getting to know others and support one another in this journey.

Hello All,
I too am new to this... just had my first KaiserP meeting and will be scheduled for my surgery in late July or August.  I live in Colorado, too.  It is terrifying and exciting.  So, shall we support each other??

Thank you for those ideas I am getting ready for my surgery also I meet with the dietitian for my last appointment and then we will be sitting down to set the surgery date. I am not so worried about the diet I can say I am very scared of the after effects. After the weight loss

I agree with Queue_T, try the samples. Be sure to buy unflavored protein shake because you can add to broth and hot cereal.

Hello. Surgery went well. Was up walking later that night. Next morning, xrays taken, started liquids and discharged by 7PM.
Now thay I am home, I am drinking clear liquids and walk around the inside of my house.
I am recovering well. Thanks for the advice, encouragement and most of all your prayers.
