Nature's Bounty for calcium.  They are soft gels so they slide down easily.  I wish they made a good multivitamin too, I would totally take it.  For now I am finishing a bottle of prenatal vitamins and half a bottle of BJ's brand multivitamin I have left.

For protein I have EAS.

Topic: RE: Question about hunger
Hi Elizabeth.  I have days where I am hungry and others where I remind myself to eat.  Dealing with head hunger at times.

I find that protein satisfies me the best.  Hard boiled eggs are usually handy in the fridge, along with greek yogurt.  The denser greek yougurt sticks with me.  I find that when I think I am hungry, I am really thirsty and confusing the two sensations.  I have an extra glass of crystal light and the hunger diminishes.  Keep the junky foods out of the house, keep lean protein handy.  Congrats you your success.  Let's be loser's together.

Hugs Lisa, you have more than you need in the emotional baskets these days.  Know that you are making the best decisions and that the world will still spin.  Give Steve a hug from us, we need the support at home as well as here.  I hope the rest of your daughters pregnancy flows by smoothly.  May the rest of the troublesome people in yourlives get to the places they need to be.  Hope the weight stabilization continues.

Keep us up to date.  I have my step son here for a visit.  Dennis and I have been married for 3.5 years, plus dating, this is the first I've met his son.  Hasn't been home to see his dad for 7-8 years.  He is 27 and lives on the west coast.  Different having another person around the house.  His son is used to eating one meal a day, that just does not work out with wls.  I shared that with him, and that he was welcome to have small meals with me if he chooses.  I am not letting this affect me meal choices, just having the option open for him to share.   So far, so good with the visit.  He will be here another 10-15 days.  Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Yayyyyy Marcia, there will be stalls, do not get frustrated.  I too had one at 2 weeks out.  Just continue to follow the plan, add more water and change up exercise routine every few weeks to keep your metabolism hopping.   Congrats on your success!!!!

I use centrum chewable vitamins for the multi and soloray calcium citrate chewable for my calcium source.  The calcium has a mild flavor, little citrus.  There are many choices, I found these most palatable for the $$.  Hope you find what works for you Diana.

Oh, and for the bad gas odor, devrom.

Thanks for returning to share Michelle.  Hope that they got all the cancerous area with surgery.  He is too young for this, well everyone is too young for cancer.  Keep looking to the best.  We are here for both of you.  Do not return to bad behaviors.  It is easy to do, but look at how far you have come.  Your ticker is looking great.  Keep up the good work Michelle.  Keep us up to date on your husbands recovery too.

Hello everyone. I have not posted in ages but I have still been reading the posts to stay motivated. Its been a rough summer for my family.   My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer and had surgery to remove the tumor. After 3 weeks in the hospital he is finally at home recovering and will need another surgery in a few months. On the bright side he is staying very positive and jokes that this was his version of weight loss surgery! His diet is very similar to mine now which is helpful and after a plateau for a month my weight loss has started again. I think without this group, and my surgeons monthly support group, it would have been very easy to turn to my old eating habits; fortunately that did not happen although it did cross my mind more than once. Oh forgot to mention that my husband is only 45 years old!, Thanks for letting me vent !
