Topic: Have your tastes changed after surgery?
Hi, all,
In a response to a post, I was told that taste in food will change after surgery. I am wondering, since you have had surgery, have your tastes changed? Where do you see the most change? I'm only referring to what you like rather than whether or not you are hungry. I also understand that your eating habits should change... protein, fruits & veges, then carbs. Please share your experience with what you may have liked prior to surgery and what you no longer like or don't like as much. I appreciate your input.
Thanks in advance, all you special people!
Diana

Topic: RE: Challenge...NOT for everyone!
Hi KimE,
Thanks for posting. This challenge was started as a one month challenge and is now not being used. I ask if anyone was interested in a new challenge, but had no takers. Our leader has had a very busy summer. She is the one who has to start new posts you see in the green.
Please post below and let us all support you on your journey. You have asked for support and we are here to provide it. You can turn this around and lose your re-gain. You are right to get your WLS book back out. It's back to basics.
I'm leaving on vacation on Wednesday but there are many to support you. Kathy is the co-leader and will have a lot to offer you. Take care, Mag

Hi everyone. I am 17 days status post gastric stapling. Started a pre diet several weeks before surgery . Have lost 27 lbs already.(a bra size and a shoe size, go figure) Feeling much better now. I am so excited .I wish all the luck to those out there going through the same. I will answer any questions i can. Right now i am still in the learning process with the diet and vitamens. the only problem I had was yesterday I accidently ate a piece of chicken I was preparing for my family(old habits) I paid for it, nausea and vomiting for about 30 minutes, won't do that again.
