So good to hear that you're feeling well enough to ride your bike now! Keep up the great work!

I already got my chest xray, they let me go for the ultrasound for now because I don't have my gallbladder.  W2G on losing the weight so fast.  Sry they are underminding you.  That makes it so much harder I would guess.  Tomorrow I have the first nutrition class, psych consult and intitial surgeon eval, after that they get paperwork together for insurance preauth.  Keeping my fingers crossed.  Congrats on your surgery date.  I will be thinking of you.  Keep your chin up...

I hated the milky thick protein shakes so my nut gave me the idea to make my own... I use GNC unflavored protein powder, crystal light or benefiber, and I mix with water it is fruity and light

Topic: So frustrated
So I just had a roux en Y exactly one month ago and my weight loss has been very slow.  The first week and a half I lost 10 lbs and since then I have only lost 3 lbs.  I am very discouraged and really regretting having this surgery.  Has anyone else had this problem?

So um yea. Well Monday I went for Upper GI, ultra sounds, and Chest Xray. And I swear I might just bug if one more person assumes I dont have my gaul blatter or that I need an inhailer. Went for my weigh in and I have lost my 5% so. Yesterday I get a call and my surgery date is 12/9/11. I still have 16 pounds to go b4 surgery but the first 16 came off in 28 days so.

Well anyway g/l with your adventure I am glad mine is almost done.

welcome and hello... I can't relate but I can understand where you are struggling :) You still have your tool you just have to get back to basics and I am hoping as much for you as for myself that the tool will just keep working (it's what I have been told)  I am 4 months post op and just found out I am pregnant.  I have only lost a total of 76 lbs so far so I am hoping that the tool works after the pregnancy :) You can do it.

Are you taking any stomach medication? I am 1.5 years out and I STILL take stomach meds, otherwise I get burning and pain. Also... FIX the water problem or you might end up in the hospital again dehydrated! NOT FUN!

Over 110 lbs lost!! (Finally!)
