Saturday today... My eating was OK yesteray- I (and my house assisant) made lamb in the oven with potatoes (for hubby) and I had some lamb, salad and tzatiki for lunch. Dinner was just lamb. I'm still having a hard time with snacks but I'm trying to limit them and keep them in check. Yesterday, they included lo-cal chinese soup + cheese (my usual snack) plus less than 1 oz. peanuts. I'm addicted to nuts, so I usually keep away from them and I was pleasantly surprised that I could control the peanuts yesterday.
Today will be a tough day. I'm waiting for the delivery of a camera I ordered for brother, then we are going to the movies and dinner. I wonder how that will go.

So... a couple of good things today. BEST of all, my grandson got out of the hospital. They never did figure out what was up, but he seems better for now and hoping it stays that way. Meanwhile, his doc is going to follow up with him on Thursday and she will be talking to some other doc's prior to that.
Second good thing...I went to a yard sale down the road from me today. There sat a computerized stationary bike with different settings available, for only $30.00! The garage we are having built is 30 X 60 Ft. the front 27 feet is garage, the back 33 feet is where our hot tub, a small pool etc will be located. I had also decided on putting some exercise equipment in there, so this is my first "machine" for in there.
As i chatted on the phone with a friend, I rode on it. So that was really kewl. As I had not gotten in any exercise today prior to that other than some yard work. Food went good today, but not enough water in. I have felt very tired and icky today. Think it is all of the stress right now.

Tomorrow I will focus strongly on getting in the water and crystal light. Am also hoping to go get my hair trimmed and get the high and lo lights touched up. Have needed this for over a week now. We shall see if my stylist can get me in or not. Am supposed to have the whole day all to myself and since the baby is out of the hospital and doing better, I can hopefully relax more mentally. Would like to get in a walk and some bike riding on the stationary bike tomorrow. I may even drive to a place where I enjoy walking the "trail". That will depend upon what the weather decides to do, as they are calling for a good chance of rain. We need it , so if we get it I will just have to stick to the bike.

You all have a great weekend and keep up the great work!

Just a quick note to all.  Went in for vsg on Monday and came home Wednesday.  All went well.  Thank you to all who said a prayer or wished me well.  It helped because I couldn't be doing as well as I am otherwise.  Thank you.

Thank you Amalia! You are doing wonderfully! a half a kilo can be a BM, excess fluid, or just a normal fluctuation. I wouldn't let it get ya down! I am so proud of you and all of the effort you are putting into this! You hang in there too!

Thanks for you kind wishes and thoughts with the baby. We will definately take good care of him. And I agree he will get through this, and be ok. I just hope his days of GI troubles will end soon. Makes the poor lil man so miserable.

This is your fearless leader....signing off.

WOO HOOOO!!!! You go girl! Weight trraining wil;l be great for you! I am glad to hear you are excited about it.  You are still in the losing phase, so don't be suprised to slowly lose a bit more. But know that typically around 2 1/2 to 3 years out it is pretty normal to regain 5 to 15 lbs then settle in. Not sure why this is, but seems to be a tend with many. Happens a bit sooner with some folks.

Originally I wanted to get down to 140 and my surgeon was very upset. He wanted me at 170. Its funny, cuz i told him I would shoot for 154, as that would have me at a normal BMI. I got down to 153 and hung out there for several months, until my recent 10 lbs regain. I did nothing to stop the loss at that point, i think my mind just told my body "ok we are there!" lol. Truth be told tho, I'd like to hit 145 some day, but for now will be very happy when i get back to the 153.

I have not lost more as of this morning, but I knew with how yesterday went, I shouldn't expect it. Good news is, it didn't go up either. So its back on track today and will wait a couple of days at least, to check in with the scale again.

You keep up the great work! I am so proud of you!
