I'm 10 days out post op.  I see my Dr. today for 1st post op appt.  I am still hungry.  I had a VSG.  Is anyone else out there still hungry?  I thought that would be gone.  I know I should be able to start mushy foods today or tomorrow.  I havn't had a problem with anything so far.  No nausea no vomitting and been able to keep everything down.  That kind of worries me.

I don't really reember where we are in our reporting, but since I can only remember as far as yesterday, I'll report on that! lol

OK, yesterday, Tuesday, I had coffee, cheese and some leftover meat for breakfast (we were all out of everything else since it was shopping day). Lunch was simple and so was dinner - a little beef, some salad. I went a bit over on my snack, I had 1.5 oz of peanuts instead of only 1 oz as I planned. Also, I polished off the 1.5 oz of dark chocolate I was saving for after this diet. Thank goodness I was able to stop there because I could have gone on, easily, I was in a foul mood!

Amalia,
You are very right! Seems lately challenges are biggesr and more frequent than usual, but then life seems to cycle like that. The old expression "when it rains it pours". I know I will get through all of this. It will take time andfocus on both the challenges I am currently facing and in my journey, but I will do it!
Hugs, and thank you!

You are very welcome! I too am finding it to be helpful. It can make a real difference when you know there are others right there with you, and you are all sharing the journey and checking in with one another. Congrats on your success. We will just keep this going!

Patrece,
Life is not a walk in the park. We will ALWAYS face tough problems and one of our toughest is losing all this weight.
We do our best with what we've got, right?

I don't know about the rest, but I LOVE this! It's keeping me accountable and I think twice before I eat something. Also, since we started, I lost 1.5 kg., when I was stuck before!! Thanks Patrece for starting this thread and thank you to all the rest who are participating. I no longer feel alone.

Hi all. Thuings have been a bit tough around here. I think this just is NOT my month. So many struggles to face right now. A good time tho to be trying to stay mindful of what I am putting in my mouth and when and why.
Yestwerday was way busy and rough, and I just did what I could to get through the day. It wasn't bad in the food dept, but not the best I've done either. Today I did pretty good, excpet for not getting in my breakfast. I must get back to doing this. A little shy of my water goal today, but not bad.

Lets all keep on keeping on! Wishing you all a great wls day tomorrow!

LOL I think we should continue it for the remainer of the month. Then we'll see if we want to keep it going. Sound good all?
