At this point I hope you've already sailed through surgery and are in la-la land of pain meds. Take it easy and follow your post-op instructions. In 6 months when you feel 10 years younger, you'll look back on yesterday and think, "What was I so scared of?!?!"

I am so excited. Surgery scheduled for Aug 8th. I am jumping up and down with happiness. I'm ready to start the new journey I'm fixing to embark on!!!

Glad the visit with the PNP went well! As for the water, I have to be very disciplined to do it too... just gotta do it girl! Get a watch with alarms on it and set it to remind you to drink a certain amount at a certain time??

Marcia, take your before pics and measurements today. You will look back on this data at some point and be simply amazed. There will be days where you seem to have hit a plateau, remeasure and compare, for the pick me up that you need.

You are a Godsend. I was really getting so jittery I almost thought of not having the surgery but with your help and others on her and my husband and therapist - I am feeling better and trying to envision what life will like on the other side and keeping myself distracted today as my therapist put it. I can follow this plan I have found that out through this pre-op diet phase it was just so hard because of the hunger in the first 3 days I thought I could kill someone I was so irritable and hungry hahaha. But tomorrow is closer than ever now and I'm not so hungry anymore. The urge to eat is subsiding somewhat :) Thanks for being the voice of reason on this path.
