Hi everyone, and welcome to all the new since I been here last..

Umm.. ps will do the trick! going this week to talk to my Dr about it.. WHOOHOOO.. soo.. I need more than a TT done..but insurance will only cover a TT... better than nothing.. In mean time..my health is so-so.. off all those meds..but looking to head to pain clinic.. one thing weight loss can not change..is my spinal damage and the pain...

BUT.. now..here is a laugh.. my 10 yr old daughter shares my clothes..and my shoes! um.. ok.. so I lend her my tank tops..some are too big on her ..but what fits she takes..and we bought the same flip flops..same sz.. but..she had to get blue..cause Im not sharing..lol,.. SO.. my daughter is a giant.. I am ..ok was 5'8... shrunk to 5'7..my daughter is 10, wearing a size 8-9 womans shoe and a womans 3 in clothes.. and is over 5 ft tall.. yes.. I am mom talking here..sorry...

I found I can eat amost anything..cept creams and too much sugars.. tried a cake.. ehhhh... leave it.. im good .. OH speaking of sugars..my PCP wants to order a 3hr glucose test.. ..my specialist is against it and wants me to go directly to endocrinologist...DX having hyperglycemic reactions...so I take this test..im going to pass out for sure... PCP..hmm.. needs to listen to me.. IM NOT DOING IT... ok.. nuff said.. boy..been gone too long..

so update some more.. my kiddos.. all teens but my daughter..and my boys are now embarrassed of me.. like huh... im smaller.. and huh? .. their friends think im sexy...hahahaaaa... yea.. Im like..ewwwwwwwwww... ok.. so my hubby is also having a better time with me..and I get more room in the bed..

oh... while i am all over the place..lets talk another surgery... I had a hysterectomy in Feb.. days after my birthday.. cancer of uterus.. tons of ovarian cysts as well.. .. sooo.. Im in menopause now.. and feel prego.. cravings, flashes..moody.. sensitive... crap.. better go away soon.. but.. news all updated I think..if I remember anything else.. so sorry to hear your having a hard time. remember to eat small bites.. I used a baby spoon..literally..lol..it helped so much..and I can not eat creamy soups..so that might be your problem..becareful with the creams..maybe avoid those til further out and see how you adjust. ..and keep in mind..small sips.. wait.. if ok..sip again.. do not rush.. I kept a blender bottle next to me..had oz mesaureing on it.. I would fill to 4 oz.. and drink that..then refill.. then graduated to 8oz..to meet my 64 oz a day.. it was so hard.. I was at 48 oz a day..which was ok for my dr..but still had to sip allllll the time.. it is work.. but hang in there..do not feel you have to loos so much so fast..everyone is different.. your so fresh out of surgery and give it time.. your doing fine.

I am doing better than I expected but I am still struggling to get in my liquids and protein minimum. It is getting easier day by day. Whenever I have questions or concerns, I do a search on the site. If it is serious, I call my doctor. Joining a support group is highly suggested.

@dsh4dst: thank you very much & congratulations to you!!!!  I can't wait until the day of my surgery. I'm nervous & exited at the same time. How have you been doing since your surgery?? Is it as difficult as some people say it is??

Hello, craftyjenn.
If something is a major problem or concern, always check with your doctor or nurse especially when pain is involved.
I suggest that you measure all of you food. If it is too much, eat kews next time.
When eating cream soups, make sure it has no chunks in it and make it very thin.
Your weight loss will vary.
Hope this helps.

Topic: had surgery and now struggling
hello all.  thanks for all the replies on my latest posts.  i had my surgery on  may 31 and was discharged from the hospital june 2.  i am now struggling at home with eating.  i have started the full  liquid diet a day early because i am hungry all the time.  i think that i am not drinking enough during the day.  i had some cream soup today and must have had to much because i had such a stomach ache and pain.  everytime i eat/drink something i get an upset stomach.  i still have my drain in and it will come out tomorrow which is a good thing cause that's starting to get painful as well.  i'm not sure how much i should be losing on a daily or weekly basis but i feel like i'm not losing as fast as i can.  i don't weigh myself everyday i just feel like i'm doing something wrong.  any suggestions?
