Topic: RE: Making bad choices! HELP
i will say i do eat some carbs but not a lot. i dont do soda. i get weekends where i slack off and i understand. esp near grocery shopping day. i just dont want u to beat yourself up. you know what you are doing wrong and you can change it. dont feel like u cant have bad carbs ever though. a bite never hurt anyone, or even a little more than that for that matter.

Hello everyone, I like the looks of your site and hope to learn a lot! My husband just had bariatric surgery 2 weeks ago and since he doesn't get on the computer, I thought I'd get on for him and find out as much information as possible--we call him the "guinea pig", since I'm considering weight loss surgery also, if things go well for him.

Best of luck in your surgery. 165 is VERY realistic!
It's close to my goal too.

Hi,
My name is Kryss. I am a 40 mom to a beautiful 8 year old daughter. I am currently 263 lbs (down from 276 pre-options classes at Kaiser)
I have been a big girl for most of my life. In HS I was a size 12-14 depending on clothing while the other girls we size 6 & 8. A very hard difficult road tro be down. I know I was not the biggest girl in school, but the taunts and teasing and brattiness of other kids made me feel bad about myself long into my 20's
When I got married at 22 I was a size 20 and it just went up from there. My highest weight was 278 when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I got close to it again this year at 276. I am done!!!!
I comepleted the Options classes at Kaiser and am meeting my surgeon next week. I am very excited to take the next step and regain my life.
I have a realistic goal of 165 and hope to get there! if I lose more than that YAY me!
I have chosen the RNY due to being a diabetic and I want that in remission!
YAY me!
