Thank you, seeing the positive is easier than being a downer.  We had 2 visits to ER last night, first to put the catheter in because he couldn't void and a second because it was blocked with clots and wouldn't drain.  Top this off with a visit to the urologist this morning for more clot removal and his pre op physical for monday surgery.  It is nice to hear him able to snore right now.  Ahhhhh sleep!!!!!

Can't wait for monday and a fix to his trouble.  Pampering him a little over the weekend.  The dogs are curled up napping next to Dennis.  What a pic.  I won't disturb the nap session.

Have a grand day yourself sonliberty!

That is a mouthful of a degree Julie.  Best of luck.  Keep working on the positive attitude.  You are the only one that can keep it on the bright side.  Being angry at things only harms oneself.  Like they say, the only one we can change is ourself.

Be kind to yourself, do something nice for you every day. Practice positive self talk.  Being positive is a personal choice, and it works!!!    Hugs

My degree will be in Youth, Leisure and Human Services.  My concentration is NonProfit Administration and Youth Leadership.  That is a mouthful.  LOL
I have come to realize that I was angry at everything.  Anger sure takes the joy right out of everything when it comes right down to it.
I am a part of a great Christian group, and am really working on getting some hope back.
I will be seeing an orthopedic doc again today.  same one who keeps telling me nothing is wrong with my leg.  maybe today he will see that there is SOMETHING wrong.  not being able to walk very well should say something.  we'll see.
thanks for your support guys.  I appreciate it.
hugs
Julie

Topic: Update on my life
Wow, how things can change from one day to the next.  Dennis (my hubby) got to have his cystoscopy yesterday,  (A look into his bladder.)  He had a blood clot in there yet, swelling of the prostate and a mass that urologist could not tell if was part of prostate or bladder.  This mass needs to be removed, and they scheduled the surgery for next monday.  At least we will know what is going on soon.  They are going to do the mass removal through his urethra, this scares him, as I suspect it would any man.  But general anesthesia will help.  I will let you know more when we know more.

The weather has been great here in MN, temps still into the 70's in the afternoon, sunshine and breezy.  I have been taking the dogs for long walks, enjoying these days of fall, the crunchy leaves, sounds of birds getting ready to migrate, watching squirrels stashing things for the winter.  Knowing that one of these days, there will be snow to scoop.  I sat outdoors yesterday afternoon and read the paper, sipped on chai tea and watched the dogs wrestle with each other.  Couldn't be better.  I am getting in my liquids, supplements and protein.  Made banana bread for Dennis, and am not even tempted to eat a slice, yayyy wls.

Julie, keep working on your education, it will serve you good.  What are you taking/studying?

I am glad you are seeing a therapist, they have great suggestions.  Take this one day at a time and do not give up on yourself.  Keep telling yourself positive affirmations.

Wish i had answers.
One day at a time and keep your eyes on your goal of graduation.
that is a feather in your cap that can't be removed!
I wish I'd graduated years ago as I really see it's hindering me now as I look for work
