Topic: RE: My repost about being "normal"
ah, the 'normal' people. I love them. I know they have good intentions, but it only reminds me of all the things I tried and failed. However, I find myself trying to 'help' others. I try to stop myself most times. Its hard to explain to other people that you know are struggling with their weight and not succeeding, what you are doing to lose weight. Because it might not work for them. But you want to help. You know their struggle.
I'm not normal. I figured that out a long time ago. All you I can do is take those people in stride as they tell me I should just eat less, exercise more. Because, you know, I haven't EVER tried that.

Thanks.  This weekend was the first time I didn't feel like i needed to go to bed right after I got up and I have noticed that my energy levels are finally increasing.

yeah you are doing fine! I know when i first started on my soft foods, i got the heartburn/indigestion thing and my dr prescribed some prevacid for the pain. it feels like false hunger pains and then the burning. Just take your time and you will be fine. Make your soups very soupy until time for thicker soups.

hi there,

i had surgery 7 months ago. I remember starting to feel like myself on and off after 4 weeks. Proper nutrition and vitamins will really help you. and i dont think you are going crazy. some people feel awesome right away, others take some time.

good luck,
sara

Topic: RE: surgery Insurance?
I would call around to other surgery centers and ask. All the notes should be sent to your new provider without a problem. the problem would be if they are outdated or if the new provider wants to do a different test. i dont even know if my surgeon has insurance like that. its never come up before. even if he doesnt have it maybe the hospital does. i guess you have to decide how big of a deal it is for you.

good luck

yes, its very normal. Alot of people have to do it even if they are not pre op. once you are done with that regimen you will likely have to take a minimum of 2000 i.u. daily post op.
