New to the Group
Hi all, I am new to the group and this web site. I was banded in June of 2007 in Mexico. I have been wishing I would have paid out the extra money to have had it done closer to home. I had an endoscopy yesterday and have put myself on liquids. The finding was "food and fluid retained in you stomach. Gastric band."
Not sure if this means my band has slipped or what. Any thoughts?
I'm thinking about getting revised to the sleeve. Has anyone done this, and where did you go in WA state? A little scared, I don't want to end up in emergency and owe tens of thousands of dollars. Thank you! Theresa

Welcome to the group Theresa. Not sure exactly what your endoscopy results mean either. Time for an in depth discussion with your surgeon. Get to know what your options are. Yes it is good to have surgery near where you live, they follow up sessions are easier.
