 New to the group. just had Lap band surgery on 3/8/12. Looking for any help along the way from previous banders.

     It's nice to meet you. I'm not a band-er, but many things about our surgeries are the same. Drink plenty of fluids. Be as active as possible. Glad you are with us. I hope others that have bands will message you soon.     Mag    

Congratulations on getting to the losing side of surgery Betty.  I have friends that have had great success with the band.  Looking forward to your success as well.  I had RNY 2.5 years ago.  Best thing for me with my health issues.  Let us know if we can help.  Read and post often, the support helps.
