If u are trying to avoid car s and sugars what do you use as condiments? I need some ideas, my go to is ketchup But I'd like some other low carb, low sugar ideas.  Especially for chicken.

Thank you!

If the meat is moist, I don't need any condiments. Otherwise a dab of ketchup or drippings (not the fat) from the pan. A dab of greek yogurt hits the spot.

Make your our sauce with a bullion cube, Mustards, vinegars, low calorie salad dressings.

That's the good idea with the greek yogurt, I find it pretty palatable so maybe I can just mix some spices in with it. Thanks Kathy :)

Tzatziki Sauce (this is great with chicken)

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced finely
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 cup greek yogurt, strained
  • 1 cup sour cream  ( this could be optional)
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 1 tsp. chopped fresh dill
Combine olive oil, vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Using a whisk, blend the yogurt with the sour cream. Add the olive oil mixture to the yogurt mixture and mix well. Finally, add the cucumber and chopped fresh dill. Chill for at least two hours before serving.
