Bariatric Buddy
5th UPDATE!!!
Well, Well, Well...
It has been a while since I posted an update and I apologize for that.
Since my last update, I've met with my nutritionist and when I told her that I was stuck at 290 -293lbs for almost 2 weeks, we evaluated my calorie intake and found that I was getting in 500-700 calories daily. My metabolism just started to slow down to reserve its energy and therefore had me at a stable weight.
Since then, I have increased my calorie intake to about 1100 calories per day and I am now down to 285lbs... (THAT'S ANOTHER GOAL KNOCKED OUT OF COMMISSION).
Softball season starts soon and I've been practicing like an insane man where people tell me "Dude, Relax! Its only softball." I am just that excited and yesterday, my team practiced for 6 hours at 40degree temperatures. So much for being a recreational team.
Next update should hopefully show me at 281lbs or hopefully lower.

Hi Juan,
You are doing great. It was good that you and the nutritionist were able to figure out what the problem was. I was shocked to find out that I was not eating enough back when I was a few months post-op. I had to laugh. I never thought anyone would have to tell me to eat more. Keep up the good work.
