Hi Fran,

I'm walking 1 mile 5X's a week. Found a walking buddy which makes it so much easier.

Goal for next week is to call the trainer at our GVR (free) exercise room. Lots of machines to work on. I want her to set up a realistic plan for me. I have been putting it off for weeks now.
Thanks, Fran, for thinking of this.

Sounds great Fran. You start and I will post when I can. I miss being able to take long walks outdoors with the critters. took them to a local dog friendly building for laps last evening. We all felt good after walking. Helps to not walk in the slushy parking lot first

Hi Fran,

My last post was the last day I walked. I fell at the end of the walk. I thought I was okay and just ache. Then I started with pain on my right side which is the side I landed on. Now hurts to breathe, sneeze, cough, or laugh. My Sis and SIL (both nurses) say it is probably cracked rib or two. No sense going to the doctor's office or get an X-RAY because they don't treat it. It just must heal on it's own. So I'm told. No sense contacting the trainer until I'm able to do the exercises.

Hugs and Good Thoughts to You,

OH NO!  Might not be able to treat a broken rib.. but if the pain is that bad, you might need to get something stronger than the tylenol that we can take.  I wish you a quick recovery.

I too have been afflicted bay pain.  Friday I twiste4d my back or something getting out of the car to go to the gym.  I was able to complete my workout without pain, but when I stopped and sat down I was in excruciating pain.   Ended me up in the ER and they decided to work me up for abdominal stuff as well since for some reason I was having right lower abdomen pain.  Chalk it up to musclokeletal pain.  I ended up being on bedrest all weekend.  feeling better end of lastnight..  I did WATP for 15 minutes.

Hi Fran,
I am in less pain today. Still must be very careful and not turn from my waist because it cause some very bad pain. It is acute much of the time. but not all the time.

My friend will be here at 7:30 to walk with me.

Hi Fran,
Feeling soooo much better. Able to move without constant pain and the pain level is way down. My doctor is sending me back to PT. I don't know how I'm going to pay for it, but things have a way of working out. Walking later today by myself. My friend doesn't walk on weekends. I'm not sure why.  Mag
