Yes, its the 2nd Tuesday of the month. We normally get an email the week before to let us know what the topic is. If its something you are interested in you go. If not  you skip it. Personnally for me I find the time after the speakers are done better then the topic as we split into groups and just discuss whatever we want and ask questions.

The groups are newbies, then 2nd stage, over 6 months etc.

Hi Jennifer,

I have not been walking for a few weeks. It is colder than normal here in AZ. I usually go to WalMart to walk if the weather is bad, but I use the excuse that is too crowded during the holidays. No cookies so far, but we are baking tomorrow for friends. That will be a real test for me.   Mag

Good luck with the cookies Mag!  It's funny, since I have been back to work this week, I don't have the desire to eat the sweets on the table anymore.  There's still plenty out there, and I pass them everytime I go the copier, bathroom or kitchen, but they're not calling my name anymore.  Must be cookie'd out!  I made deviled eggs Monday, and packed a few in a container and brought them to work for some extra protien.  That seems to be working out well.  Walking in the store is a good idea too Mag.  I'll have to give that a whirl.  Oh, oh!  I also just got in the mail the Jillian Michaels 6 Week 6 Pack DVD.  Got it on Amazon for $4.  I know I'll never have a 6 pack, but for some reason I really like working out my core muscles.  Feels good!

Other bonus of working out your core is that your posture improves and you look taller.  For someone who is 5 foot tall, I will take any advantage I can to look taller
