I'm new to the site...joined today. I just moved to a small town in Kansas with no such support group so you all are my people   now. Thanks y'all!
I've started adding to my soft diet this week... I think the hardest part at this point is adjusting my diet (food, texture, timing, etc) to coincide with having a meal with my husband. He's been really good about my having the procedure (keeps calling Cream of Wheat, birdseed lol). I've lost about 22 lbs in past 3 wks since my op 4 wks ago. I'm going to start exercising more than stretches, etc next week (doc approved).
My goal this coming spring, besides reaching my goal weight, is to run a 5k... (no New Year's resolution here lol****ep "visualizing" my goals... I am I am I am going to do this or that!

Welcome to the group Ziggy!!.  Congrats, you are on the losing side of surgery and the losing is happening.

I agree, looking to the positive side of things is an overall improvement in day to day live.  Let us know how we can help.  Post often to share your journey with us.

I am 25 months out from surgery and loving that my tool works and I am headed to my goals.  This is not a sprint, but a lifestyle change.  I am a slow loser, but I did not gain it overnight either!
