My name is Kasey and I live in Pittsburgh, PA.  I had my surgery in Feb 2007 and lost 100 lbs.  I maintained this weight loss for 3 1/2 years until I got pregnant with my son.  I gave birth on Aug 25, 2010 and only gained 20lbs, but since then I have seen the numbers on the scale increase and the inches around my waist are growing as well.  My son is a horrible sleeper so I haven't gotten much rest in the past 14 months.  I find myself going back into my old eating habits and feel a sense of losing control in terms of my eating.  I need to get back on track....I miss feeling healthy and comfortable with my body!  I am hear for the support and encouragement of others who can relate to my situation.

welcome and hello... I can't relate but I can understand where you are struggling :) You still have your tool you just have to get back to basics and I am hoping as much for you as for myself that the tool will just keep working (it's what I have been told)  I am 4 months post op and just found out I am pregnant.  I have only lost a total of 76 lbs so far so I am hoping that the tool works after the pregnancy :) You can do it.
Philippians 4:13 -  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Welcome to the group Kasey. You need to be your own best booster. Take the rules you learned in 2007 and reapply them. Get the unhealthy things out of the house, your child does not need them either. Set a healthy example for your child. Get him exhausted so that he will sleep better, daily walks with the stroller will help you too. Do you and your child share a room? Consider separate rooms to improve your sleep.
