Bariatric Buddy
Must have been insane
Welcome to the Loser's bench Travis. Give this recovery time. Things will improve. Take some deep breaths, sip, sip sip and get up every once in a while for short walks. Take your pain meds as needed, careful, the narcotics can cause constipation.
They pumped you full of IV fluids for surgery. I sequestered the fluids and thought I was never going to pee during the immediate days after surgery. I came home from the hospital 10# heavier than when I arrived for surgery. It took several days before the fluid shift started and I was losing weight.

Oh Travis..I hope you get to feeling better... I know what you mean. We had the same day surgery. My back is killing me. They say a lot of it is from the gas they use to do the surgery with. I have found the best thing for the pain besides meds is walking. I hope you feel better...I will say a prayer for you... happy thoughts and just remember it will be so worth it and we have a new lease on life now..... healthier bodies and we get to wear skinny people clothes oneday
