Bariatric Buddy
Hello
Hi! I'm Danyelle and had gastric bypass on May 31, 2011. My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and we have three great teenagers....well, most of the time they're great. I tried for too many years to lose weight and after much prayer and discussion decided bariatric surgery was my best option. When I started the journey, I weighed 267 lbs and today I'm down to 220. I am still struggling with fatigue and getting enough protein but it's getting better. With work, a family and too many commitments, I don't have a lot of time to be online, but will drop in when I can. Thanks for the support y'all have already given me!
Welcome to the group Danyelle, the tired feelings improve with time. Congrats on your success and making the decision for improved health. Make time for yourself each and every day. Your family and friends need you healthy to fulfill those commitments. I am looking forward to reading your posts. Come share when you can. If you are able, come share during a monday chat session, getting to share with others in the same situation helps. Keep up the great work, hugs.

Hi Danyelle,
Glad to meet you. I live in AZ too. I'm not far from Tucson. Your weight loss is great. Your protein and water is soooo important especially in our 100 degree plus temperature. I know it's difficult to get it all in when all you can do is sip. Energy will come. I promise. Take care of yourself. Mag
