Bariatric Buddy
Have been MIA for a long time
Soooo i know theres some people who might miss me... lol... i just wanted to post an update. i havent been on here in a while actually months since i updated my weight. i would like to give a positive update but i am still trying to get my mindset changed in a mental aspect. the word is in front of me and i just need to see it!! anyways i am almost 4 months out and have lost over 70 lbs since my 2 week prior to surgery appointment. i started at 259 a year ago and am down to 221. its freaking amazing. i just started a workout routine at an actual gym and pushed myself today and found that it made me feel awesome but lightheaded lol. so i had a piece of candy yeah a gym that has a bowl of candy... what has this world come to lol. soooo i went back to school after having the quarter off. its tough stuff this time and im having issues with my goiter that i never had taken care of, my cpap which is the wrong setting and my thyroid meds and still trying to get my psych meds balanced out. but i try to get my protein in, get all my water and meals in, but theres always something to work on and something that needs changed or balanced. BUT i dont recognize myself. its really strange. but i love this new person that i am, when i am positive. i am going to make one more post. please look at it
Hi Sara,
Glad to see you posting. Not glad that things are out of balance. I know how that is. I'm 6 months out and my psych meds keep going up and up. I've had lab work drawn but don't have results back. How come your c-pap is the wrong setting? Did you have a sleep study? I've had 2 sleep studies in the last month. Neither had any REM sleep. Dr. is trying to figure out what is wrong. Then I'll have a 3rd one to see if it corrects the problem. Take care of you. Mag
