Better late than never

I joined the challenge as well.  Wish that I had saw it sooner.  I have been struggling, but deep down knowing that I needed to get my a$$ back into gear.  I sorta just tired of trying to do well with all that was happeneing.  1st the left lower abdominal pain (which checked out), then the chest palpitations (which ckecked out,, just have a stress test to do), then the epigastric pain (possible gastritis so I eliminated citrus fruits and tomatos form my diet til I am seen next month at the surgeons).  I just gave up caring I guess.  Anyways  I cannot continue to do that!!  Time to get back with the program.

What I need to change:
Get my a$$ back to the gym. (Goal is to get there tomorrow after working all night tongiht)
Take my vits and supplements on a regular schedule ( Filled my pill box up.. took this mornings already)
Start back with my potein shakes atleast once a day. ( I have been getting my protein in with foods, but only the bare minimum)
Start eating some veggies daily. (ate some peppers and onions tonight and have some with my lean cuisine dinner)
Eliminate sweets!!!! (that ugly sweet tooth has reared its ugly head, and since I dont dump, I have been giving into temptation).
Call my GYN and get started back on the metformin for the PCOS and see if that helps with the weight loss some.
OH yea... I NEED TO BE MORE ACTIVE HERE. I will shoot for atleast every other day. Love you guys and have missed you.

Welcome back to the group Fran.  I too take breaks.  Took my break this evening and went walking with Dennis and the dogs instead of chat.  We had the best time walking along Lake Superior.  The water is so soothing.

Do your best to get yourself back on track.  We care about you and your success.  Hugs

thanx kathy.  I definitely feel the love here.  I rarely go to any groups other than this one.  I do have a group on facebook that I belong to, but it doesnt feel as welcoming as here and my posts go un-noticed or ignored.  Dunno it could be because the group is bigger, or the fact that I dont get to post everyday or respond to ever post.

Hope that you are doing well.  Take care.  And I promise, I will get back on track.  One foot right in front of the other.  I do feel like i am crawling, but I guess I have to learn to crawl before I can WALK.  And have to learn to walk before I can RUN.

You are welcome Fran, I like the idea of crawling before walking and running.  We are like children, learning our bodies all over again.  Scoot across the floor, crawl and pull yourself up on the furniture to see what is just out of vision from the starting position.

I go in spurts with getting online here, but it is weird, Patrece and I do not talk about who is going to be online more, just happens that we fill in the times when each other have other commitments and obligations.  Great to have a friend for filling in your gaps.  The group here also fills in some of my gaps in life.  I am thankful that I found the bariatric buddy group at a time in my life when I really needed it.  I try to pay it forward, when I can.  Hugs and let's be loser's together!!!
