Im lurking again

Been super busy, but also just havent wanted to be on the computer much.  Havent felt like doing much of anything actually.  But that is gonna change.  Come monday, I am going back to the gym, if only for 30minutes.  My trainer, who I was having scheduling issues with, has resigned.  So now I have to be assigned another one.  Hopefully this one will be easier to schedule time (which us convenient for ME).

My weight for awhile hung around losing and gaining the same 4 pounds.  Then I dropped those 4 and an additional 2.  I am now sitting at 275.  275 is the lowest I have ever been in my adult life.  The last time I weighed that I believe was 1999.  55 pounds to lose to be at my HS weight.  Then an extra 40 more to go, just because I said so... LOL...

My body is changing.  Skin is getting flabbier.  It has been a little depressing, but at moments it has been a celebration for me as well.  Like someone posted on my facebook page, the loose skin is a battle scar.  Once the war is won,  I can fix (plastic surgery) this.

Started a new BC pill.  Actually switched from depo to it since I have been great at taking my pills.  Well just got my first BC period.  PMS was not fun on top of the normal hormonal changes that have been going on.  All week my poor fiance hasnt been able to do or say anythign right.. LOL.. poor guy.

Spent sunday (before memorial day) in the hospital for observation.  Woke up to palpitations (racing/bounding heart rate) and chest tightness/pain.  Cardiac workout has been negative so far. ECHO did show an enlarged heart, but cardiologist thinks that is because of my many years of obesity.  Halter monitor showed a few episodes of rapid heart rate and some occasional ectopic beats.  I have to get a stress test the 1st week in july due to my strong family history of CAD and my symptoms.  Also ended in the ED last week for severe epigastric pain (would of swore it was my gallbladder if I had it still). Lasted about 2 hours then NADA.  Dont know what it was.  No pain since.  ED mentioned that it could be an ulcer.  So called my CNP friday and left a message.

Hi Fran,

Glad to hear from you. Yes, the flabby skin is no fun, but I've heard others say it improves after weight loss is done. We will see.
Sorry about your hospital experiences. Scary. I hope they find out what the problems and solutions are. No ulcers, girl. They are nasty. OK?
    Take care of you.    Mag

Fran,

So good to hear from you!  When I come on I always look to see if any of the people I started this journey have posted. Not many do anymore. So many new faces and people. I wish them all well and luck.

Glad to hear  you are losing again. It's so important to stay motivated. I know I am constantly pushing myself. My motivators are my inlaws have not seen me yet since last summer and I will see some of them on a camping trip on the 4th of July. I have 8 lbs to lose for my goal weight for that week end. Then hopefully another 10 lbs for a wedding  4 weeks after that in Aug. I will have to come up with another motivator for after that.

Sorry to hear about your other issues. Hope all turns out ok.

Sam
