Challenge...NOT for everyone!

Ok... today I am working at getting away from the smokes, and not turning to food to take the place of cigarettes. Wish me luck.

Getting ready to go out and work on painting my garage , but have to do a coat of primer first, then paint. Will be a big project! The building is 60 ft by 30 ft plus a wall that divides front from back, so lots of surface to paint. Ought to get my workout for the next few days! And on that note, it is time for me to get on some clothes I don't mind getting ruined potentially, and get my behind in gear!

Hope you all have a wonderful day and achieve all you hope to!

Good luck quitting the smokes Patrece! Unfortunately, I  have not been able to do the same. Oh, and have fun painting.
I apologize for posting a little late today, but I wanted to report for 2 days, since it's a good possibility that tomorrow I won't be able to post. Anyway, here is yesterday: I continued my protein-heavy diet with cheese and some salami for breakfast and of course my coffee. Lunch was a chicken burger patty with some salad and dinner was about half a veal steak and I sneaked in a couple of French Fries when no one was looking!
Today's breakfast was tomato and 1 egg (see recipes) plus about 3 tbsp of yogurt with 1tsp of honey. I wanted this last to help with BM because I've been having trouble. It worked!
Lunch was the top part of a chicken leg and a peas/onion/mushroom concoction and dinner was really wierd. At mid-afternoon I had a snack of a couple of slices of Genoa salami, a slice of cheddar cheese and a couple of breadsticks so when dinner came I was waay too full to finish even half of my dinner of rigatoni, meat sauce and salad which is just as well if you ask me because I was overdoing it in the carbs dept.
Tomorrow (Satueday) we have planned some shopping, dinner out and maybe a movie so please forgive me if I don't check in.

Yeah, the carbs are a little up there for how you have been doing it, but once in a while we all need a little something special. Just have to know we can't do it on a regular basis.

Enjoy your outting tomorrow. I hope you have a fun time. Has your vision cleared up at all yet?

The painting is a huge project! I got all of the cutting in done with the primer. Now have to use the roller and cover the ceilings and walls with a coat of primer. Then on to the actual paint. It seemed like cutting in went quick, but the time passed quicker. It'll ghet there eventualluy. Wanna make sure it is done so if I do indeed have an ulcer and need surgery on it, I won't have this project hanging over my head.

have a wonderful weekend!

Awww honey, I know how terribly frustrating and miserable it is when you are so exhausted. There must be something going on to cause it, and I hope the blood test reveals an easy answer that has a fairly easy fix. If your tyroid level is low, that could be doing it too. Or if you are depressed, depression can be quite exhausting as well. Have you been checked for sleep apnea? Whatever it is, rest, and i hope the answer is revealed soon.
Try to get those meds in. Not taking them can possibly add to your fatigue. Even when things aren't going well, come and post. I am not going to be mean or nasty about it! I am here to help encourage and support you, not to judge or berate you! We all have our times of struggle. Sometimes far too much to struggle with.
Know my heart is with you and I wish you quick relief from this exhaustion.
Hugs back at ya lady!

Hello all,

Another day. I've been in and out of bed all day. Ellen was going to take me out to dinner to celebrate her new job (now that she has a few paychecks under her belt.) But when the time came I was too tired to go. We are going to try again to go out to dinner tomorrow. it doesn't help that it is about 9:15PM and still over 100 degrees out side. This heat is brutal. Eating small amounts throughout the day. Trying to stay up and get some more water in. Walking in the house was all the exercise I could muster today. I'm trying a little bit harder today. Think I'll take a sleeping pill tonight and see if that helps.  Hugs to all,    Mag

(((Mag))) I'm so sorry you are having so many problems. I wish I could wave a magic wand and make everything better for you :( Have you talked to your doc about all this fatigue? What does he/she say? I worry about you and you are in my mind a lot lately.

Thanks my friend,
I'm so unhappy about all these problems because I'm wasting my precious "honeymoon" period. My sis thinks that once I'm feeling better I will lose at a faster rate again.   Mag
