so big test for me
Hi Tim,
Sorry here are sweet temptations present. The cravings we have for something in the house like that is sometimes called head hunger. Your head wants to eat it not your stomach. Does that make sense? Try going for a walk, read a book, exercise. Something to help take your mind off the pie. Good luck. Be strong. Mag

Have you asked those you live with to try to help you succeed by not putting so many temptations in front of you? This may be very helpful for you, if they would consider trying to keep the temptations at a minimum.
Just remember...NOTHING tastes good enough to be worth being so unhappy and unhealthy over. The taste lasts but a moment. The bad effects hang on for a very long time. Be strong!

If your family is unwilling to keep the tempting foods out of the home, consider asking them to store those foods in a cupboard and consider that cupboard off limits. My husband wants to have things around the house that I do not want to eat, for my health. We have a system. He has "his cupboard" I do not look in there, when he needs things added to "his cupboard" he has to accompany me to the store, pick out what he wants, bag it, carry it to the house and put it away in "his cupboard". This has eliminated much of the temptation. We can both accept the plan.
