I'm so sorry you are going through such a rough time. I know you are already aware, but overeating does not help. I know you are trying. Do you have someone that will help you set up some menus so you can make the proper meals at home? When I have to go to town or doctor visit or PT I put a small cooler with ice packs for water, a healthy snack, and put it in my car. It really helps to plan in advance for y6our day. Good luck, Mag
Tim, I get a to go bag when I go out, bringing at least half of my meal home with me. That does not always work before surgery. Think through your options. Choose the healthier thing. Eating meals prepared at home helps with portion size and healthier things than those from fast food.
I think the water walking at the Y is a good thing. The water helps support some of your weight and the resistance from the water works your muscles. If you are not comfortable walking in the middle of the pool, stay closer to the edge. Do not worry about others. They are there for activity too.
Hope that you find a job again soon. Rooting for you.

Tim, hang in there. The scale and the journey can be up and down, no mTTER HOW WE TRAVEL THIS journey! We just have to remind ourselves of why we must lose this weight and that no food tastes as good as being thinner and healthier feels. Best of luck
