100 pounds and an update

Sooo................ i have officially lost 100 lbs and find that i do not recognize myself when i look in the mirror. the only thing i am unhappy with would be my bat wings at this point but they aewnt as bad as they could be. im down about 30 lbs since surgery, but thats not counting the gain i had after the fluids. but the last weight they had me at prior to my 2 week diet was 305! they are going to be sooo happy. i go next week and am hoping to lose a few more pounds.

i am still struggling to get all my fluids and meals in. esp if i do errands or go out.  im getting there though. naps are less frequent but w/o them i crash at gabbys bedtime lol. sometimes even with them.

we had an exhausting weekend. we took gabby to see hop and she had her 7th birthday party at chuck e cheese. she has gotten labeled with aspergers and we arent surprised.

is anyone on facebook that wants to keep track of me? what about patrece? its been so long since we've heard from her. let me know, because its annoying to post pictures on obesityhelp. BUT i will do that sometime this week. i will try to do it in a few minutes actually so that you can check it after reading this post.

Ahh Bat Wings, the only thing to do is to name them. Mine are Bob and Sara. They are always there for me when I need to lay my head on something. They also have a mind of their own, when we say goodbye to people they keep waving, they never want to stop. They also hate the new fashion of shirts with no sleeves.

seriously, keep trying to get the water and protein in. You will do great.

Congrats on your loss.  SO when did u have ur surgery?  dont see it on ur profile.  Recently i know.   Batwings..  well i remember exercising and them CLAPPING.  OMG thought I was gonna fall off the step and start laughing.  Trainer didnt hear it and wondered what I was laughing at.  So when I told her we both had a small laugh.

dont get me wrong i didnt loose all 100 since surgery. i had to do a 9 month diet before. ive lost about 30 lbs since surgery on March 24th. the rest was prior. in two days i do my one month measurements and more pictures. i kind of cheated and checked my waist and hips the other day and it was sooooooooo exciting.

i knew u were on a strict diet before surgery.  Still the weight loss is awesome.  I never took my before measurements...  wish I had.  My surgeons office too my wais, hips, and my neck.  So it would be amazing to see what those numbers are now.  Gonna get my personal trainer to measure me in May.  Then I will be 4 months out.  I know I lost more inches.  I had to trash my old jeans (they were big, old, and worn out) to buy new ones (off the sale racks of course) in March.  Now the new ones are baggy as well and when I bought them, I bought them a little snugger than I would like to wear.  Anyways my next shopping spree is gonna be at the good will...  gonna buy something new in May for my birthday though.  I so NEED summer clothes!!  I packed all of my summer stuff away, but the only thing that i might be able to wear are my tops.

it may not have been a strict enough diet because i still messed up but thats part of being human. it was the strictest thing i had ever been on and stayed on though. we have a second hand store, lots of them, around here and i still had some of my old jeans that i outgrew from years ago. it wasnt so much my weight that made me unable to wear them but my hip size. i am extremely happy with my weight loss andi weigh again tomrrow. when i go back to school in july i have to buy clothes and am not sure what to do because i will be 3 months out. and isn't it the first 6 months the weight loss is the fastest? i dont want to have to keep buying whole new wardrobes brand new. i think when it gets closer i will check the second hand stores weekly to try to find stuff but shirts are tough because its hard to find pretty ones so i will have to buy those new, a few of them at least. wish hubby could get a credit card for clothes lol
well............................................. oh and check just my size online they have tank tops for 5 bucks. they run small though but i was over their standards when i ordered their biggest size so im not sure i am accurate but my mother in law said they run small and shrink once you wash them.
some people were waiting for me to go down in sizes so they could have my clothes lol. would be nice if someone was giving me their clothes or something lol. but i am a kind person and thats what i do -- give, give, give. its how my mother raised me. i realized when i was out with my daughter that she did something right and im not sure that i am. hmmm....... but having aspergers make you not catch the social clues and manners and all that stuff

well now we both have our new TOOLS and will be sucessful at this weight loss thing once and for all.   I am gonna get another month or two out of these jeans even if I have to buy a belt, which I hate wearing!!!

I am in the same boat as u are though about the school clothes, however mine is the work uniforms.  The people are coming to work this week and I will be able to do payroll deduction.  The dilema: do I buy all 2x's  (instead of my 3x's) or do I buy some 2x's and 1x's?  LOL,, guess I wont really know until i try them on.  I am sure that my tops will atleast be 2x's because of my broad shoulders, big arms, and hanging lower belly.

Congrats on the 100# loss Sara.  You did amazing on the diet before surgery.  Use your tool to continue this pattern.  Getting smaller outfits at goodwill or thrift stores is a wonderful way to go.  Enjoy the nicer weather as spring blossoms.  Hugs
