So last year I was just in the mid 2's during Summer but this year I am at my goal weight and can wear size 9 great right yeah but the extra skin is a nightmare. i went shopping today for some summer clothes because we I don't have any that fit. OMG everything has arms out dress tops all arms out. My arms are not only big and lose but it is sagging on the arm because I have lost the fat just stretched skin. and swimming I don't even know what to do. My daughter and I go every summer it's like our thing to swim but I can not be seen in a swim suit first my breast are deflated and gone. My inner thighs have the same sag appearance and forget the stomach wow. I wish I could afford plastic surgery but I can not and believe me I have calculated and recalculate to try to afford it but it's not in the budget. My job pays for nothing cosmetic and all of this would be cosmetic because I have no physical aliments just embarrassment. The journey of weight loss is never ending I expected some but not like what I have. I look great in clothes but out omg no way. I am even shying away from dating because I fear getting to the intimate stage. I know we can be our own worst enemy but I know it looks bad my doctor was even shocked.

I would not want to go back to over three hundred pounds but I hate being a skinny girl with fat girl residue. Just my rant I saw so many cute clothes today but I could not buy any. Anything I wear has to skillfully hide my problem areas. I guess I still wish I could be normal. Being a big girl I was virtually invisible but as a skinny girl people are looking and engaging me so it make it difficult having all the loose hanging skin in areas people would not expect.

I feel your discomfort, but there is a answer... I was in the same boat last month shopping for summer stuff.... well go ahead get sleeveless but get a light weight shrug to go over it as for swim suit well I bought a bra style bikini top yes I sure did BUT I found a see through net top to put on over it and as for bottoms I found matching bike shorts that hid my sagging thighs and the net top hid my drooping angle wings..... I hope this helps... ?

Be proud of your success.  Lisa had wonderful options.

I plan to wear what I can.  I do not care for the shorts that ride up between my legs, but jean type fabrics maintain their position better.  I do not worry about the bat wings, at least not much, lol.  I do not care for the flapping noises the bat wings make when I pump my arms and speed walk.  Sounds like a crowd clapping, my crowd of my batwings.

There is shapewear that can help to smooth things out under clothing.  I see some wearing a couple of layers of swimwear for additional support at the pool.  I do not like that my abdomen sags, high cut swimwear simply will not contain the skin.  I plan to check out the shorts idea for wearing over the suit.

Fashion Bug carries a line of swimsuits where you buy the top and bottoms seperate. The tops provide good support and cover the tummy and the bottoms have great tummy control and come in either shorts or short skirts. I bought a couple of these in different sizes and love them; especially the shorts. Unfortunately they dont hide the upper arms though.

You are most welcome.  You should hear the flapping noise that my bat wings make when I power walk.  Kind of funny noise, something that a child would find amusing.

I was planning on buying a wet suit for swimming. But since that is not realistic, Sears had these suits that are seperates but the bottoms are like bike shorts and they are cute. So that is what I am gonna get. And really some people and their comments just dont matter. All that matters is I can run, bike, play games and live my life to it's fullest. And I am having FUN!
