Bariatric Buddy
I am so mad!!!!!!!!!!!!
That kind of behavior really makes you think that she has an addiction to food. I feel sorry for her. It doesn't bode well for her chance of success. When I look at stats about surgery type and successes, I always wonder if there is some way to take into account people like that (for statistical purposes). Anyway, congrats to you for your new life and glad that you are following doc's orders. Good luck on your continued success (which seems likely since you are starting off well)
To be honest I feel sorry for people like that. When I was two weeks out I made out with pizza because I was too afraid of hurting myself... but I felt ashamed of myself for making out with it. We all go through these surgeries for different reasons. And if we truly knew the right things to do and had self control, we wouldn't have had needed surgery. Not trying to be mean, but being successful on our surgeries doesn't give us the right to be that judgmental. We didn't like it when skinny people freaked out at us eating and said it was "for our own good" or judged us and said that we were fat because we wanted to be. Just saying is all.
