avacados

Does anyone know if avacados are allowed? They are not on my list of foods to avoid or foods allowed. I don't see the dietician again for another month and was just wondering. Eating just protein really makes me miss my veggies but next week I can have them; as long as they are cooked into mush!!

I eat them. They are a great source of healthy fat. I put them in my smoothies after surgery. Now before you say yuck, avacados are a nuetrual taste. Try it.

Thanks Dani. I will try them in smoothies, I love avacados! Someone did tell me that they think they are actually one of the foods that helps to prevent gallstones. Not sure how true that is but it works for me!

Not a fan of avacados myself.  Amazing what can go into a smoothie.  Great ideas everyone.
