Adjustable Gastric Band on 06/07/11

    Hello,I am waiting approval for lap band surgery, a little scared but READY for a change, tired oy yoyo dieting, weigh****chers, Jenney Craig, Phentrimine, Mega Green tea pills, 90 day cleanse, works for a while then comes back with extra, every time i drop a size I get rid of the old clothes thinking this will do it than bam, back to lane Bryant for my old size.

   I am Lena and ready to change and commit to a healthier life

Welcome! This place is great! I just got my approval date for RNY and I absolutely understand all the emotions of being scared and sick and tired of the yoyo.... I try to get on here as often as possible because this site has some great support!

Welcome to the group Lena. You can use any smiley you like, sometimes difficult to see what they are really doing.

I too do not miss all the gimics for weight loss. I see more and more commercials for different things all the time.

Try to join us for monday chat sessions when you can. Lots of caring and sharing happens during the sessions. Looking forward to getting to know you better through many posts. Hugs

Welcome to the group, Lena. I'm glad you found us. I have found so much support here and I'm sure you will too.

I think all of us have tried it all and pretty much got the same results as you. I've had a few problems, nothing major, but I wouldn't trade where I am right now for anything.

My surgery is April 11th and I am having the RNY done.
