Blessed Sunday to you all!

I hope you are all doing good today.  I've been up since about 4 AM reading emails and doing housework.

Last night I made ravioli and in the process of draining the water I spilled it on my foot.  Some of you may have actually heard me scream.  I think I would rather go through child birth again than endure that pain.

At the risk of providing TMI, I had gone to the doctor's to have him look at a small rash that I developed right at the lowest part of my back and just inside the 1st inch of butt crack.  I remembered him saying something about the cream being prescribed for burns so I hurried up and put some on.  Then I spent the rest of the evening hosing down my foot with a lidocaine/aloe spray combo that completely killed the pain.  It struck me kind of funny that my butt saved my foot!  LOL!  But it looks good today, doesn't hurt one bit and hopefully I won't have blisters to deal with.  I am so grateful for that.

Hubby and I are both on pins and needles; we take delivery of our Caddilac SRX on either Monday or Tuesday.  I just love it and I'm hoping Don will let me take it to Colorado for the retreat.  My form of entertainment last night was reading the manual online.

Once I made my goal of 145 I decided that I was going to go for 135.  Right now, I have been fluctuating a couple of pounds between 140 -145.  I don't know if I can take anymore off.  I'm thinking I'll probably get that 135 mark once I have the surgery.

I'm not sure what is wrong with me, but I have had no appetite for a week.  It's kind of hard to explain.  I think it's because of all the meds I'm on and the horrible taste and dry texture to my tongue, nothing tastes right.
But I take one or two bites and I'm done.  My mother is having a fit because she thinks I've lost too much weight and I look "gaunt."  I think it's because the chin "waddle"
is making me look older than I really am.  I'm not having anything done to my face, I'll work on that with creams an all the magic potions they advertise on TV.

Well that's it for me today. I hope all of you have a great day

Sorry bout your foot.  Sounds like you did what was needed to remedy it.

Your body will stabilize at a weight that is right for you.  Do not try to lose more just for the sake of losing.  You need to feel well too.

Enjoy your new toy.  I am spending time sitting in my office chair in the new quilt studio area and visualizing the completed organization of my stuff.  We got the bifold doors installed, still need to fine tune the door spacing and add the knobs.  Some time in the next few weeks.

Dad is here for a visit this weekend, we are getting in many games of skipbo.  His fav.  Hugs

Hi Colleen, So sorry about your foot. Hopes it heals quickly. Congrats on the new vehicle, too. I've never been good about reading the manuals. For the first time since surgery I'm getting my appetite back (6 weeks out). That's what woke me up so early. Actual hunger.
Take care of yourself.  Mag
