Healthy life is hard to find

I'm just back from the doctor's office. Ear, nose and throat doctor said part of my dizziness of the last five days maybe due to an inner ear problem. Did a balance test which I flunked. Scheduled for a "Spinning Test" on Feb. 24th.  He put me on 2 new pills that I probably won't keep down anyway due to the N/V I'm going through daily. Surgeon is sure my Gallbladder needs to come out. He has ordered a hydascan ASAP. Then I will probably schedule my 3rd surgery in 3 and 1/2 months. He put me back on liquids. I never thought I would be grateful to be told not to eat. Isn't life interesting? Good news = I'll probably lose a lot of weight. hee hee. Mag

Well u ended that on a good NOTE.  I am so sorry about your n&v.   Been there and done that.  Had my gallbladder taken out 10 years ago.  I felt instantly better.  Now I did have dumping when I ate fatty foods.  SO I guess its a good thing that fatty foods are limited in our new LIFESTYLES.

If they do it lap then you will have matching scars on the right side as on the left.  I have a "T" shaped of tiny little incisions.  The old ones just look like stretch marks now...  So i'm camouflaging my belly.

Once you get through this gallbladder CHIT, you will start to feel better.  Then we all better watch out because you will be a little speed demon to catch up :)

Mag,

My prayers are with you while you go through this; I went for almost 2 years of testing before they diagnosed me with a condition that causes my blood pressure to drop rapidly whenever I bend, stoop. lift or exhert myself.  I am now disable due to this and getting my SS benefits.  I'm not suggesting that this is what is wrong with you, only letting you know that I know how you feel with the dizziness and the tests and the meds and blah, blah, blah.

Hang in there.

Colleen

Praying that your dizziness and nausea/vomiting are resolved ASAP.  I felt so much better after my gallbladder was removed (many years ago).  The recovery was relatively easy.   I had to have 2 of the hyda scans done to actually prove that my gallbladder was not functioning.  Before having it removed, my diet was limited to extremely low fat foods.

Let us know how the testing goes.  Hugs

Keep us posted lady! My heart and prayers are certainly with you! You will feel soooooo much better with the GB out, if that is the culprit! It is a fairly easy recovery too...as long as they can do it laproscopically. Wishing the best for you!
