Oh Boy! Im Back!..LOL

Still adjusting to things as time goes on. hit 3 month mark, moving on to month 4. Hair is thining around tmeple/bang area on side of head... weird spot..thought crown or something. I went with out much protein for a few days, ran out an crazy weather here kept me inside.. I managed with what I could in food, eggs, cheese, lowfat milk, was so hard.. I got my powder back today..and WHEW and I relieved! I am also taking a new med for depression, just started them, so will see how things work out.b I wouldnt think I would be depressed right now with loosing weight and all, but some things are unavoidable. I have a condition called Seasonal Affective Disorder aka SAD. these dreary winter months have really pulled the life out of me. I can't wait til summer, I get to buy a new bathing suit!.. going to the beach and showing my bat wings off..hehe.. let em gag, their all mine and I worked for them! besides I will be in the ocean letting the waves ripple away at my sagginess.. and getting exercise- its a work out at the beach.. well was every time I been there before..lol.. So.. onto some foods, I love fiberone yogurt, keylime pie..its been really helping my bowels too. :) I am also eating more food variety. pretty much can eat anything, cept sugars, not daring that one. But any food I tried that was allowed even with caution , I had no problems with. Now..just wait, that being said it will happen..lol.. darn it.. ok..enough of me.. hope everyone has been doing well.

Welcome back.  Sounds like you have been enjoying this snowy season just as I have.   Errrg.  Will be glad when it is gone away completely.  Lucky no snow this week.  We just got the snow drifts everywhere.

I too cannot wait til summer.  I too will be getting a new bathing suit.  And if I hang in places, so be it.  No one has to look at me.

Congrats on the weight loss so far :) keep on doing the best that you can. Sorry for the thinning hair.  I am only 5 weeks out, so havent reached that yet. Been trying to get a lil more than the minimal amount of protein in.  Today has been slow though.  But thats because I dont want a protein shake.   Gonna have to bite the bullet and just fix it and drink it.

Congrats Tammy, gotta love the batwings.  I got a matching set on my thighs.  I go to the Y, not caring what others think.  The thigh wings flutter in the jets of the hot tub.  Odd sensation.

Many need to be on antidepressants at least for a short time after wls.  Then there are those, like me, who have been on them for quite some time and do not plan to give them up.

I am pleased that your foods in general are going great.  Do not tempt the sugar, keep dumping as a concern.  I too want warmer weather.  It was neg 24 when I left work this morning, not sure what the windchill was, my breath was sucked away.  Predicting near 30 degrees above for this weekend, practically a heat wave, so to speak.  I want to take the critters for long walks, they were out for less than 30 seconds this morning, very quick duty call.

Come back and share when you can.  Hugs

So great to hear from you! AND you flap those wings with pride lady! YES you did earn them. I like to say, I am a butterfly that has emerged from my cacoon, and i have the wings to prove it! LOL.

Big hugs coming your way. Spring isn't too far off lady.. get some UV bulbs in the house, they say that can help. Know I love ya!
