Back to work on Friday

I know, I sound way too excited.  I am sorta wishing I could take off more, but I need to get back to work for a few reasons.
                              1. Work will help me get back into a routine of sorts.
                              2.  Work makes me feel like I am doing something productive.
                              3. I am making less $$$ with using my sick time and we need the extra.
                              4.  I am going stir crazy!!!!

I sort of feel left out of life right now since i am not out working.  Not sure if that makes sense or not.

Feeling great today.  Clothes feel nice.  Im so cold though.  Always have the chills..  So bad that I went and bought me some sweatsuits.

Congrats on getting back to normal life Fran.  Do not overdo the first few shifts back, I found that I tired more easily at first.

Feeling chilled is normal.  I discovered long sleeves and sweatshirts after surgery.  Before surgery, I wore short sleeved t-shirts all year round.  I now have a collection of long sleeved shirts, sweaters and sweatshirts.

I enjoyed visiting with you during chat last evening, you sound like things are going very well.  Hugs

Woo hoo!  I'm excited for you; I know you were hoping to get clearance to go back this week!

It makes perfect sense to feel left out.  My bosses, who are WONDERFUL, barely called me at all when I was home recovering.  They wanted to give me time to relax and recover, and not bother me with work stuff.  Meanwhile, I was expecting tons of calls with questions, updates, or plans for next steps on some big projects.  Nothing.  (They did check on me, and I called them and they wanted to know all about how I was doing, but didn't include me in stuff).  I know they meant well, but I kind of yelled at them when I went back... I was just SO out of the loop, and I was home alone knowing that they were together talking about all of the things I was usually a part of, and I know if seems weird but I wanted to be there too.  I hate missing anything LOL.  (always have.  still the last one to leave a party, wouldn't go to bed as a kid if anyone was at the house - and my daughter, too, same thing!)

Enjoy heading back to work on Friday.  Just think, if people haven't seen you in over a month, how much they'll notice how great you look!

Sorry this is late; you're already at work by now.  Good luck on your first day back.  As long as you aren't doing any lifting or strenuous, you should be fine.  Don't be surprised about being wiped out when you get back home.

Sending loads of good thoughts your way.
