I made it

Good morning to all.

As of this morning, I made my goal weight; I'm at 144.8 and my BMI is exactly 25.  I have been waiting for this moment for almost 2 years.  So why does this feel like such a let down?  I thought the whole neighborhood would be awake with me hollering about making my goal but for some reason I'm just not that geeked up about it.

Maybe part of it is that I feel like I can lose some more.  That is something I don't dare say to anyone here at home.  My son thinks I'm bony, my mom has been saying that I should stop since I was around 175.  As for my hubby, I think he is just waiting for me to get that boob job! LOL!

I think I can take off about another 10 pounds.  That will keep me occupied for another month.  I also need to work on a maintenance plan.  I absolutely refuse to go back down this road again.  If my appetite levels off and stays the way it is, I should have no problem keeping myself at or within a pound or 2 of my goal.

In the meantime, I am going to do some chores today, make some rosaries and if my car will start (it's currently 7 degrees) run to the store.

I hope you all have a good day.

CONGRATS Colleen!!!!!!!! This is a big accomplishment. We can work together on your maint. plan, when you hit a point where you have time for our coaching calls again.

There's so much going on with you and hubby right now, that maybe its overshaddowing your success and your ability to enjoy it. PLEASE find a way to embrace and enjoy that you have made your goal! You deserve it!

Colleen, Congratulations!!! I am doing the happy dance for you, LOL! I understand what you mean about reaching an important goal. I so looked forward to getting below 200, It had been so many years since I had seen those numbers! And then, when it finally happened, it was anti-climatic! It was just a number on my way down to goal. I was much more happy when I finally got to a weight BELOW my husband's. He was a skinny little guy when we got married and I had NEVER weighed less than him. But now I do, & I remind him often, LOL!!!
I'm very happy for you & I hope things are going well in other areas of your life. I think last time I popped in, you were having some health problems? I'm not sure, it's been a while. But take care, & celebrate this huge victory!

Hugs,
Rhonda
